Select all exposure classes relevant to your project; the most restrictive one ("governing") will be used for calculations.

Cement type / strength class: Available at hardware stores: CEM I 42.5 N (Portland cement, standard recommendation). CEM II is suitable for less demanding applications, CEM III for sulfate-resistant or lower-heat mixes.

Margin v (N/mm²): Safety margin for target strength (B20 section 6.2). Typical: 3–5 for small batches, 9–12 for construction sites with unknown variability.

Specify surface moisture of aggregate Enables moisture correction for aggregate. Without input: batch water = total water (no correction).

Superplasticizer: No admixture used.

Use air-entraining agent (for frost resistance)

Target air content (vol.%): Recommended for frost-exposed components (e.g., outdoor areas). Higher air content reduces water demand but also reduces compressive strength.

Use fly ash

Fly ash content (% of cement): Reduces hydration heat, improves durability. Max. 33% of cement weight in CEM I.

Use silica fume / microsilica

Silica fume content (% of cement): Significantly increases strength and density. Max. 11% of cement weight.

Make waterproof (WU) WU = waterproof; improves resistance to water/pressure. Set 1-2% of cement weight.

WU additive content (% of cement): Used to reduce water permeability and improve frost resistance.
